 Additional Homework Information

Our goal is to make learning as exciting as possible for your child. In order to do so, the following are our expectations. We believe homework is important because it helps students make the most of their experience in school. By doing homework, students reinforce and apply what they learned in class, work independently, assume responsibility, learn time management skills, and develop positive study habits. Homework assignments may not always include written work, for example reading for enjoyment. Other criteria for success include participation, effort, tests, projects, and daily activities. Skills of life, such as note-taking, following directions, organization, neatness, accuracy, and self-evaluation will be stressed, as well, to help your child thrive this year and in years ahead. As always, your child's education is our utmost concern. If you have any concerns, please call the office and leave a message. We will return your call as soon as possible.
