Upcoming Events

Parents--we will be beginning our big science projects on Monday, March 8.  This is an 8 week project and will count for a very large part of your child's 4th quarter grade.  Please check here once a week to follow the progress of the projects.

PARENTS--HERE IS YOUR HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT!  In order to help your child pick an appropriate topic and decide how much time he/she is able to devote to this project, please go over the following papers from their Science Project with them:  Possible Topics, Helping Students Select a Topic, and Keys to a Successful Project.  PLEASE SIGN THESE PAPERS AND HAVE YOUR CHILD RETURN THEM BY MONDAY, MARCH 15.

Welcome to Room 604, your stopping-off place for all things science and math for 2009-2010.  We'll be busy with new and challenging topics in both subjects.  I LOVE to learn and I try to make learning fun for my students!

Parents, students and teachers make excellent partners when we work together for a child's benefit.  One of the best opportunities to do this is to help each child develop the responsibility for completing his or her work.  We work hard in Grade 6 at STM to make sure each child writes down all assignments and takes home all necessary papers and books.   As a parent, you can join with us by helping your child be organized at home, making sure your child has everything ready for the next school day.  Together, the parent-child-teacher team is very powerful and can achieve great things!
