ACADEMICS

St. Thomas More is a Preschool through 8th Grade Roman Catholic school in the Allentown Diocese. Our students reside in the following neighboring school: Salisbury, East Penn, Parkland, Southern Lehigh, Whitehall, and Northwestern.

The school is organized to serve the student and educational program needs at different grade levels. Kindergarten, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade are located in the STM Primary Learning Center. Grades three through six are located in the STM Main Building where grade-level classes are grouped together. Grades seven and eight are also located in the STM Main Building, with homerooms and major subject classes located in a separate wing providing a middle school environment for these students.

  • Our full-day kindergarten program consists of a maximum enrollment of 19 students in each class.

  • Grades one through five and grade seven each have four homerooms with a maximum enrollment of 26 students.

  • Grades six and eight each have three homerooms with a maximum enrollment of 26 students.

We are a Catholic Christian faith-centered community that integrates spiritual and intellectual growth by nurturing values, encouraging academic achievement, and inspiring responsible action. We share in the educational mission of the Church by providing opportunities for all members of our school community to grow in their relationship with the Lord and meet the challenge to witness to their belief in Jesus Christ.

Education at St. Thomas More integrates Christian living and academic pursuits in an endeavor to develop the whole child.

The programs are substantive, comprehensive, and varied with emphasis on basic skills, providing a solid foundation for learning.

In addition, critical thinking, decision-making, and a love of learning are nurtured. Cultural experiences for appreciation, enrichment, and enjoyment are afforded the students. Our goal is to provide a stimulating environment conducive to achieving maximum potential for each student.

The school shares a campus with St. Thomas More Parish.
